The Artist hopes that the artwork provokes the viewers to reach their own conclusions about the artwork’s message, depending on how it affects them.

The head of Andres Bonifacio inside the ballot boxes may mean that we are looking for leaders with qualities such as his. Or, the artist may simply be saying that Bonifacio was and should be declared the Philippine’s first President, as some historians push for. The headless figures represent you and me. Whatever we believe in, the power to make changes is in our hands, whether through the electoral process or by other means.
